F5 Crypto Acquires SwissRex Fund and Becomes One of Europe’s Largest Crypto Fund Managers
Zurich/Berlin, September 11, 2025 – F5 Crypto Management GmbH has successfully completed the acquisition of the SwissRex Crypto Fund. As of November 1, 2025, F5 Crypto will assume management of the liquid crypto fund from its founders, Désirée Velleuer and Reto Stiffler.
Following the acquisition, F5 Crypto will manage two crypto funds: the F5 Crypto Fund and the SwissRex Crypto Fund. Both funds provide qualified and professional investors with access to fundamentally strong crypto investments. With this step, F5 Crypto becomes one of Europe’s largest management companies for crypto-specialized funds. The combined assets under management of over EUR 30 million position F5 Crypto at the forefront of the European market for active crypto investments.
The acquisition particularly benefits investors of both funds. F5 Crypto will apply its rigorous crypto fundamental analysis to the SwissRex Crypto Fund, creating enhanced return potential. In 2024, the F5 Crypto Fund delivered +53.3%, and in 2023 achieved a gain of +68.9%. Investors in the F5 Crypto Fund also benefit from the advantages of a larger asset base under management.
