Frank has been active in various roles in investment, capital market, and corporate law for over 20 years. He began his career as a lawyer at an international law firm, followed by positions as Deputy Head of Department at BaFin (Federal Financial Supervisory Authority) in the Investment Supervision Department and as a representative in the Investment Management Committee of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO). Since 2007, he has served as the Managing Director of the Bundesverband Alternative Investments e.V. (BAI), a German association for alternative investments.
In addition to his professional practice, Frank has published numerous specialised publications on investment and corporate law and is a co-editor of leading commentaries on the German Investment Code (KAGB) and the AIFM Directive.
He has been appointed as an expert by the Finance Committee of the German Bundestag (Federal Parliament) and the European Parliament in legislative processes related to capital market law on multiple occasions. Frank regularly acts as a speaker on investment and regulatory topics at conferences both in Germany and abroad.
For over six years, he has also been deeply involved in the digitalization of asset management and the sustainable transformation of the financial industry.
